Marketing this might not Make Sense…weird or funny?

Volvo has cracked 4 1/2 billion years of evolution in a couple years and will make it available in a car (mmmkay).

Locust = Reliability. Hmmm.

    It looks neither funny nor weird to me. I mean, when a serious company like Volvo does something like this, you have to take them seriously as well.

    I surely take Volvo seriously I was trying to point out it might be weird to market the idea of locust reliability or locust anything.

    This is seriously funny when you think about marketing the concept. The first car to use the technology would obviously be called “Locust” – right? What is more important than saving gas? SAVING LIVES!!! “Buy a Locust-save a life (maybe your own)”

    Actually, when you think about it, this is the first step in flying automobiles. Why don’t we have flying autos? Right, you can’t paint lines in the air which means total chaos. But now, or soon, we will have the technology to drive in total chaos in the air!

    Yes great Headline…I am fascinated with technology and marketing; especially when they cross paths. It is fun to look at these things from a marketer’s eye and think about how one might promote it.
