Design, Discovery, and Humor

How do design elements affect your marketing?

I am a strong believer that design elements on your web site can have a profound effect on your site visitors. Content is important, but people make decisions based on design sometimes more than content.

Why? Because design and visual stimulation can push emotional triggers more easily and quickly than web copy. People don’t read things fully…they skim.

Ad copy experts will argue with me very firmly, and I am not eliminating the effect good copy has. I am arguing that all these copy experts have convinced us the written word is more powerful than the imagery and design elements on a web site.

Think about it and watch this.
